ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT IES COLLEGE

The IES College Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate one or more of the IB Learner Profile Attributes as well as demonstrated excellence in academic performance.

To be eligible for an Academic Scholarship, a candidate must:

meet the entry requirements for the College – which can be found here,
have attended a school tour (either in person or virtually),
have submitted a completed enrolment application, including providing all required supporting documentation (such as recent academic reports),
register your interest to apply for a scholarship by completing the application form, and
perform at an exceptional level (as determined by the College Principal) in the prescribed Edutest Examination.

The awarding of this scholarship is determined by the College Principal (or delegate) and is based on a students’ ability to meet the requirements outlined above as well as attending an interview with the College Principal.

Scholarships awarded to students entering in Year 10 are valid for the duration of that school year only. Students who are granted an Academic Scholarship for Year 10, must re-apply should they wish to be considered for a further scholarship in their Year 11 and 12 studies in the IBDP.

Scholarships awarded to students entering in Year 11 are valid for the two-year duration of the student’s enrolment in Year 11 & 12 within the IBDP.

The value of an academic scholarship may be 100% of the tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship, or 50% of the tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship. This value will be determined by the College Principal at their discretion when assessing the application.
