WHAT IS THE IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME?
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a comprehensive two-year course for students aged 16-19 years. It functions as a rigorous pre-university course which aims to foster knowledgeable, inquiring, caring and compassionate lifelong learners. The IBDP is recognised by the world's leading universities for its development of the breadth and subject specialization required by many tertiary courses.
Furthermore, many universities acknowledge that as a result of their time in the IB, students develop:

- strong sense of self-motivation
- a keen interest in civic management and responsibility
- effective research and writing skills
- critical and creative thinking abilities

THE IB MISSION
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people to help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organisation works with schools, governments, and international organisations to develop challenging programmes of international education rigorous assessment.
This programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
