EQUAL OPPORTUNITY BURSARIES AT IES COLLEGE

The IES College Equal Opportunity Bursary are available to provide financial support for students whose families experience financial barriers which might prevent them joining the IES College Community.

To be eligible for a Bursary, a candidate must:

meet the entry requirements for the College – which can be found here,
have attended a school tour (either in person or virtually),
have submitted a completed enrolment application, including providing all required supporting documentation (such as recent academic reports), and
submit a written statement describing the financial barriers and potential for the student to contribute and commit to IES College’s academic, cocurricular, and leadership values.

The awarding of this bursary is determined by the College Principal (or delegate) and is based on a students’ ability to meet the requirements outlined above as well as attending an interview with the College Principal.

The bursary will be a one-off payment that will be deducted from the tuition fees for the student for the allocated school year. Bursary payments will not automatically carry over into a new school year, and families will need to re-apply should they wish to be considered for a further bursary allocation in any following years.

The bursary amount may vary, and the exact amount will be determined by the Principal (or delegate) upon considering the application.

NOW ACCEPTING BURSARY APPLICATIONS FOR 2025!

Bursary applications are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the College Principal, therefore, there is no set closure date. We do, however, encourage families to submit their enrolment application and expression of interest into a bursary as early as possible prior to the commencement date.
